U.S. 90 near La. Hwy. 653 closed for several hours

RACELAND—State Police said U.S. 90 near La. 653 in Lafourche Parish will be closed for several hours today.
The highway will be closed in both directions while a power company strings power lines across U.S. 90, State Police said in a news release.
The closing began at 9 a.m. and will be opened and closed as the work progresses for several hours, State Police said.
Westbound traffic can take La. 308 north to La. 182 west back to U.S. 90. Eastbound traffic can take La. 182 east to La. 1 south or La. 308 back to U.S. 90.
