John Kennedy gets backing of Jindal in television ad

Gov. Bobby Jindal is featured in a new television ad for Republican U.S. Senate candidate John Kennedy, Kennedy’s campaign announced Tuesday.
Kennedy’s Communications Director Leonardo Alcivar said the 30-second campaign commercial starts running today statewide.
In the ad Jindal tells viewers he is voting for Kennedy.
“We made a fresh start in Louisiana. We need a fresh start in Washington, too,” Jindal says. “John Kennedy in Washington. That’s the change we need.”
Kennedy is trying to unseat two-term Democratic U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu. The election is Nov. 4.
Jindal has done some fundraising on Kennedy’s behalf.
