Holden couple accused of operating meth lab
HOLDEN — Narcotics agents arrested a husband and wife team accused of operating an illegal methamphetamine lab, holding the husband in custody Thursday under a $1.05 million bond, Livingston Parish sheriff’s deputies said.
Kimberly Gauthier, 36, and her husband, Tracy Gauthier, 42, both of 23211 La. 442, Holden, were arrested a week ago when agents with the Tri-Parish Narcotics Task Force and the Sheriff’s Office searched their home, deputies said in a statement issued Thursday.
Kimberly Gauthier was released Thursday on a $1,051,500 bond, while Tracy Gauthier remained in Richland Parish Detention Center on Thursday with his bond set at $1,050,500 bond, deputies said.
Kimberly and Tracy Gauthier were booked Saturday at Livingston Parish Prison in Livingston with creation/operation of a methamphetamine lab, manufacturing of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of firearms with a controlled dangerous substance, deputies said. Kimberly Gauthier also was booked with possession of marijuana and had an outstanding bench warrant for careless operation, deputies said.
