EBR library open
All branches of the East Baton Rouge Parish Library system — including the main library on Goodwood Boulevard — resume normal opening hours today, excluding the Bluebonnet branch and the River Center branch, which will close at 7 p.m.
Internet access is available at most branches, but patrons are encouraged to call first to see if Internet access is available.
Storytimes and extra children’s programming are available at all branches.
Online renewals are functioning as are telephone renewals.
Charges for overdue materials are suspended.
Book clubs will continue as usual in all open branches.
The library is canceling bookings for all community groups for the Library Meeting Rooms through Sunday.

- LSU Museum of Art, at the Shaw Center for the Arts, 100 Lafayette St. Kids and their favorite adults can play I Spy — using rhymes and riddles to explore the galleries — free through Saturday.
- All five Ochsner Health System centers in the Baton Rouge area are now open for regular business hours: Ochsner Health Center-Bluebonnet, 9001 Summa Ave.; Ochsner Health Center-Denham Springs, 30819 La. 16.; Ochsner Health Center-Mid City, 3401 North Blvd., Suite 200; Ochsner Health Center-O’Neal, 16777 Medical Center Drive; and Ochsner Health Center-Prairieville, 16260 Airline Highway, Suite A.
Postponements or cancellations include:
- Louisiana Board of Supervisors of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System’s monthly meeting originally scheduled Wednesday at Louisiana Technical College’s Hammond Area Campus.
- Metro Council District 6 candidates forum sponsored by Working Interfaith Network, originally scheduled 7 p.m. today at Greater King David Baptist Church, 7305 Harry Drive, to be rescheduled.

Four Red Cross shelters are open in Baton Rouge:
- BREC Center, 333 Kernon Ave.
- Bethany World Prayer Center, 13855 Plank Road, Baker.
- BREC Park at 801 Flannery Road, Baton Rouge.
- Gus Young Park, 4200 Gus Young Ave., Baton Rouge.
