19th District court resumes Monday
State criminal court operations for the 19th Judicial District, which covers East Baton Rouge Parish, resume Monday, First Assistant District Attorney Mark Dumaine said.
All employees, prospective jurors and witnesses should come to court, said Dumaine, who handles the day-to-day administrative matters of the East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney’s Office.
Defendants who missed their court date due to Hurricane Gustav will receive notice of a new court date at their address in the court’s record, he said. Any change of address must be filed with the Clerk of Court.
Dumaine said the District Attorney’s Office also will resume normal operations Monday.

- Stanocola Medical Center, in the third and fourth floors of Plaza I off O’Neal Lane at Interstate 12, is open for outpatient clinical care. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays and 8 a.m. to noon Fridays. To schedule an appointment, call (225) 926-7200.
- Louisiana Art and Science Museum will open on Sunday, said Elizabeth Tadie, marketing director. Free admission will be offered to LASM galleries and reduced admission to planetarium shows.
