Curfew remains in effect for EBR
The 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew in East Baton Rouge Parish IS STILL IN FORCE.
The curfew WILL NOT be lifted until rescinded by Mayor Kip Holden, said Sgt. Don Kelly today.

"We have made every effort to be understanding and lenient with people who must go to work or have some sort of emergency," said Kelly in a press release today, "and obviously we would prefer voluntary compliance."
"But this curfew is in effect for public safety. It is the law until further notice and it will be enforced."
