No Gustav impact on LSU game for now
BATON ROUGE – LSU director of athletics Joe Alleva attended a meeting with Governor Bobby Jindal and the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness Wednesday afternoon as officials continued to monitor the progress of Tropical Storm Gustav.
At this time there are no changes in plans to play LSU’s season opener beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday against Appalachian State. LSU will continue to monitor the situation in cooperation with state and local officials.
