Metro Council OKs tax plan for Nov. vote

The Metro Council decided Wednesday evening to let voters in East Baton Rouge Parish decide on Mayor-President Kip Holden's billion-dollar tax plan.

 The plan will be presented to voters on the November ballot as one issue, not in separate pieces as some members of the council wanted.
