400 people relive Civil War-era scene

Jason Langlinais of the 1st Louisiana Cavalry rides with Union Troops during Port Hudson Civil War re-enactments on Saturday at Port Hudson State Historic Site. The event gave visitors an insight into life during the Civil War. Along with the battle re-enactment and artillery and infantry demonstrations, camps were set up around the historic battlefield illustrating traditional life and clothing from the era.
