Crop duster crashes; pilot uninjured

A crop duster plane crashed Friday morning in Pointe Coupee Parish after hitting a power line, a sheriff’s deputy said today.

The pilot, from Morganza, was not injured.

The plane went down near the West Baton Rouge-Pointe Coupee lane in a cane field near Flynn Road in Pointe Coupee.
