Early voting opens for July 19 election

Early voting for the July 19 election, dedicated solely to propositions, starts today and continues through July 12, excluding Sunday, at Registrar of Voters offices.
Any eligible voter may cast an early ballot, whatever the reason. Voters should bring their driver’s licenses or other recognized form of picture identification.
In East Baton Rouge Parish, the Registrar of Voters holds early voting from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the following locations:
- n Main Office: Governmental Building, 222 St. Louis St., Room 201.
- n Southeast Office: Court Plaza Building, 10500 Coursey Blvd., Room 203.
- n Baker Office: Motor Vehicle Building, 2250 Main St.
Voters in other parishes should check with their registrar of voters offices.
