Deputies arrest man in shooting, robbery
A 21-year-old man accused of shooting someone with a 12-gauge shotgun Saturday during a robbery inside a Pecue Lane mobile home was arrested, records show.

Jeremy Terrell Kador allegedly entered a trailer at 7550 Pecue Lane through a rear bedroom where he confronted a man and a woman and demanded cash, an affidavit of probable cause says.

The 32-year-old man who was shot emptied his pockets and then tried to take the shotgun, leading to a struggle with Kador, the affidavit says.

Kador allegedly shot the man on the left side of his chest after he regained possession of the shotgun and threatened to shoot him again if he did not back away before fleeing, the affidavit says.

East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff’s deputies arrested Kador Saturday afternoon and booked him into Parish Prison on counts of attempted first-degree murder, armed robbery and aggravated burglary, booking records show.

Police seek man’s ID in theft of display TV
Authorities are trying to identify a man who took a 32-inch LCD high-definition Sharp television on display at the College Drive Wal-Mart and carted it out through the store’s garden center on Saturday afternoon.

The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office on Monday released still photos of the incident, spokeswoman Casey Rayborn Hicks said. The man is shown disconnecting the television — which, unlike models for sale, did not have an alarm device on it — placing it in his cart and exiting the store.

Anyone with information on his identity is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867.
