Two Hammond men booked in robbery
ALBANY — Two Hammond men accused of committing an armed robbery in the midst of last week’s storm have been arrested, the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.
Michael Kevin Ruffin, 22, 310 E. Louisiana St., and Trion Wells, 20, 44258 Hood Road, were both booked with armed robbery and held in lieu of $500,000 bonds, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.
The men are accused of robbing the Dollar General Store at 19320 U.S. 190 in Albany May 14, deputies said.
