3 men found shot to death in Lafourche Parish
RACELAND — Three men with extensive arrest records were shot to death early Monday in Raceland, Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre said in a news release.
Deputies who were blocks away heard what appeared to be AK-47 fire and rushed to the scene, Webre said.
Deputies also found a man shot in the legs with a .45-caliber weapon, said Webre, who added that an investigation is being conducted to determine whether his shooting is related to the three deaths.
Brandon Gabriel, 25, was treated for his leg wounds at St. Anne Hospital, Webre said.
The sheriff said those found shot to death in a dark Ford Mustang riddled by bullets were:
Numerous AK-47 shell casings were found around the Mustang, and .45-caliber casings were found about a block away where Gabriel was shot, Webre said.
Gabriel told officers he was walking down the street when he was shot by someone in a dark-colored SUV, Webre said.
The sheriff said the shooting is the first Lafourche Parish triple homicide in memory. He asked that anyone with information regarding the shootings call his office or Crime Stoppers at (800) 743-7433 for a possible reward.

- Brad A. Bourda, 27, E. 22nd Street, Larose, who had been arrested on counts of theft, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, DWI and contempt of court.
- Chauncy Adams, 30, 419 W. 15th St., Larose, who had been arrested on counts of attempted murder, domestic abuse, battery, possession, manufacture and distribution of marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy.
- Terry Hester, 22, 1218 Shelly St., Houma, who had been arrested on counts of carjacking, possession of marijuana and cocaine, and possession, manufacture and distribution of Schedule II narcotics.
