Deputies arrest man in March 27 robbery
A 33-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint after asking him “Where is the Domino’s pizza,” an arrest warrant says.

Deandre Miles asked the man about the pizza at 5:15 p.m. March 27 while the man was cutting grass at 15050 Wax Road, the warrant says.

As the man began to answer, Miles stuck a revolver to the victim’s neck and demanded his wallet, the warrant says.

Miles then removed the man’s glasses and sprayed an unknown aerosol substance in his face and eyes so he couldn’t see where Miles fled, the warrant says.

Deputies arrested Miles, 446 E. Buchanan Drive, and booked him into Parish Prison on one count each of armed robbery and simple battery.

Stabbing suspect nabbed in Calcasieu
The man wanted in the Sunday stabbing outside a Baton Rouge Burger King is in custody in Calcasieu Parish, police said Wednesday.

A State Police trooper stopped Donald “Duck” Russell, 27, for a traffic violation and arrested him upon learning he was wanted on a count of attempted second-degree in East Baton Rouge Parish, police spokesman Don Kelly said in a news release.

Russell stabbed a 31-year-old man in the chest following an argument in the drive-through line at the restaurant, at 2192 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd., police have said.

Russell, who has a last known address of 608 Fountainbleau Drive, will be transferred to East Baton Rouge Parish Prison, Kelly said.
