Man, who was shot multiple times, dies
A man shot multiple times in his car Thursday night in north Baton Rouge died from his injuries at a hospital, police said.
After the shooting, the 27-year-old man stumbled into Brown’s One Stop Grocery and Liquor store, 1445 N. Acadian West, at 8:14 p.m., said Capt. Lazarus Turner.
Paramedics transported the man to Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City, where he was pronounced dead, Turner said.
The man’s identity is being withheld pending notification of his family, Turner said.
No further information about the shooting was available at deadline Thursday.
