BUSY BEE SPRING CAMP: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., BREC’s Bluebonnet Swamp, 10503 N. Oak Hills Parkway, for children ages 7 to 12. Features arts and crafts, live animal encounters, hikes and games. BREC’S SKATE 101 BASIC BOARDING CLASS: 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., BREC’s BMX Raceway, 7122 Perkins Road. The six-week course for all ages focuses on basic balance, correct stance, riding skills and park safety. Cost: $25. Call (225) 766-9039.

SPRING ZOO-VENTURE CAMP: BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo, 3601 Thomas Road. Children ages 6 to 12 will learn skills to find animal homes, track animals and discover how plants and animals survive in the natural world.
