BAKER — Police arrested a 19-year-old man Tuesday in the stabbing of his brother at a residence on Lavey Lane.
Police Lt. James Broussard said officers booked Kegan Lacour, 19, at Parish Prison with aggravated battery and domestic abuse in the stabbing of 21-year-old Donald Lacour.
Although the stabbing occurred at St. James Trailer Park on Lavey Lane, the brothers live at 3203 Singletary St. in Baker, Broussard said.
Responding officers found Donald Lacour on the floor of the trailer with nonlife-threatening stab wounds, Broussard said. Police found Kegan Lacour in a bedroom and recovered a knife with small blade that was used in the attack.
Donald Lacour told officers his brother stabbed him after the two had a brief argument. The victim also said he did not want to press charges against his brother, Broussard said.
