La. Powerball ticket wins $200,000 prize
A $200,000 Powerball consolation ticket was sold in Baton Rouge for Saturday night’s game as a ticket bought in West Virginia captured the $276.3 million jackpot, Louisiana Lottery Corp. officials said Sunday.
Lotto’s jackpot went untouched. A single ticket matching all the numbers in Easy 5 was worth $50,000.
The $200,000 Powerball ticket matched the first five numbers, but missed the Powerball. There also were five $10,000 Powerball consolation tickets sold in Louisiana. Those tickets matched four of five numbers, plus the Powerball.
There were 29 Lotto tickets with five of six numbers, worth $1,712 each.
Powerball starts over Wednesday night with an estimated $15 million jackpot. Lotto will have an estimated jackpot of $1.02 million and Easy 5 will have an estimated $50,000 top prize.
