ALBANY — Louisiana State Police troopers arrested two Florida men in Tangipahoa Parish early Friday after troopers found about a pound of cocaine in the car trunk, a news release says.

The vehicle was pulled over for a traffic violation on Interstate 12 east of Albany.

Archie C. Parks, 24, of Crestview, Fla., and Monteles Terrell Burden, 22, of Crestview, Fla., were arrested about 6 a.m. Friday, Louisiana State Police spokesman Trooper Johnnie Brown said Saturday in the news release. Both men were booked into Tangipahoa Parish Jail on counts of possession with intent to distribute cocaine.
