Official: 2006 Jena school fire was arson, not related to race

LaSalle Parish Sheriff-Elect Scott Franklin told the media, in the LaSalle Parish Courtroom Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, that the heavily damaged high school in this central Louisiana town was intentionally set by people intending to destroy grade records and had nothing to do with highly publicized racial tensions.
