It was the first Bayou Classic since the death in April of former Grambling coach Eddie Robinson, one of the central figures in the Classic's creation. |

In all, Southern's defense forced five turnovers in the second half while Lee threw for 305 yards and four touchdowns in the victory. The Jaguars are 4-0 heading into a trip to Alabama State. |
