Q: When is 2theadvocate.com updated?

    A: 2theadvocate.com is updated between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. with top stories from The Advocate. During the day, it is continuously updated with WBRZ stories, breaking news and state/national stories. In the afternoon, we prominently feature current Traffic and Weather conditions on our homepage.

Q: What is the difference between searching on 2theadvocate.com and searching the Archives?

    A: The search bar at the top of every page will allow you to search for stories that have run on our site within the last two weeks. They can also be searched by scrolling to the bottom of any news page. There you will find a drop-down menu for stories run on 2theadvocate.com in the last two weeks.
    Our Archive search allows subscribers to search any story that has run in the print edition of The Advocate since 1985. Pricing starts at $3.95 for an individual article to The Advocate Annual Pass for $99.95 that allows you to download up to 1200 articles. Click here for more information.

Q: How do I find something that ran in the paper?

    A: Stories that have run on our site within the last two weeks can be found by scrolling to the bottom of any news page. There you will find a drop-down menu for stories run on 2theadvocate.com in the last two weeks. If you still can't find a story, try entering key words into the SEARCH bar at the top of every page or try or Advanced Search.

Q: What new features do you offer with your online obituaries?

    A: Online Guest Books allow friends and family to express condolences and share memories. Entries are free and are posted after being reviewed for appropriate content. Memorable photographs may also be submitted. Guest Books are attached to most online obituaries for 30 days. Anyone can sponsor a Guest Book; sponsored Guest Books remain online permanently or for one year. Click here for more information.
    Families may also list designated charities and funeral home information, including a map and directions.

Q: Why can't I find a story that recently ran in the print edition of The Advocate?

    A: 2theadvocate.com posts only a portion of the stories that run in The Advocate. Stories that don't run on our site can still be purchased from our Archives or by subscribing to The Advocate.

Q: How do I submit a classified ad?
