NIE - Current Events Rally
Current Events Rally
Since students will, one day, be participants in our representative form of government, they should have an awareness and understanding of current events and issues. For this reason, Educational Services hosts a Current Events Rally each year.
The annual rally is an all-day competition between students. There are four separate rallies: 5th grade, 6th grade, Jr. (7th-8th grades), and High School (9th-12th grades).
Teachers at participating schools select finalists to attend the rally competition.
Prizes are awarded to the top finalists at each day's rally.
