Panhandler to hold knife skills classes
The Panhandler, 2561 CitiPlace Court, is offering a class on knife skills taught by Henckel representative Iggy Bagetta from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and again from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 12.
In the hands-on class, participants will learn how to use different types of knives and techniques for keeping knives sharp. The $20 cost may be applied to any knife or other purchases on class day.

Market to collect toys for Brave Heart
Whole Foods Market, 7529 Corporate Blvd. in Towne Center, is collecting toys for Brave Heart — Children in Need through Nov. 21. A collection container will be at the front of the store.
Founded five years ago and serving 37 parishes, Brave Heart focuses on improving the quality of life for children who are experiencing the emotional trauma of being removed from their homes because of abuse and/or neglect.
Holiday food safety is most important
