DENHAM SPRINGS — The open-air Livingston Parish Farmers Market, located in the New Covenant Church parking lot on U.S. 190 (Florida Boulevard) across from McDonald’s, is held from 7 a.m. to noon Saturdays.

Farmers and artisan food producers who are scheduled to be at Saturday’s market include:


  • Davis Works — Vegetables and gourds.
  • Everyday Delights — Jams, pies, cobblers, cakes and muffins, including sugar-free products.
  • Kemp Farm — Grain-fed, nonmedicated beef and eggs.
  • Landry-Poché Farm — Tomatoes, okra, squash, peas, beans, eggplant and mustard greens.
  • Larry Boudreaux — Creole food mixes, jambalaya, gumbo, chili, beans, shrimp and barbecue.
  • Lazy B Watermelon Farm — Watermelon.
  • Lisa Coussou — Hot sauce and pepper jelly.
  • Lloyd’s Smokehouse — Andouille, fresh and smoked pork chops, sausage, boudin and bacon.
  • Linda Bennett — Amish friendship bread, tea cakes, brownies and cakes.
  • Louisiana Pride Grist Mill — Stone-ground cornmeal, fish fry, grits and flour.
  • Nature’s Honey — Raw, unprocessed honey and creamed honey.
  • Papa’s Popper — Kettle corn.
  • Randy Ard Farm — Peas, beans, tomatoes, okra, turnips, greens and squash.
  • Story’s Farm — Tomatoes, sweet potatoes, squash, peas, eggplant, purple onions and herbs.
  • Wilkes Farm — Tomatoes, green beans, squash, cucumbers, greens, pumpkins and okra.
