Meatball Po-boys perfect before trick-or-treating

A meatball po-boy may be just the thing to start off your Halloween or fall festival activities. It’s easy to do in the slow cooker and frees you up to do other things for your evening of fun.

You can pick up a package of frozen meatballs at your neighborhood grocery, and that will save tons of prep time. A spicy Cajun gravy will perk up the meatballs.

Be generous with the green bell peppers and onions. Two of each may seem like a lot, but is well worth the flavor. It’s also an easy way to serve friends, cousins, children, etc. Just put together a giant salad, some chips, and you’re on the way to an easy, tasty dinner before heading out for trick-or-treat.
