Brenda Mitchell of the Crazy ’Bout History touring group will recite “Ain’t I a Woman?” as presented by Sojourner Truth in 1851 at the Women’s Convention in Akron, Ohio. FRENCH SUMMER CAMPS:
9 a.m. to 11 a.m. July 20-24 or July 27-31, Children’s Museum of Acadiana, 201 East Congress St., Lafayette. The camp, co-sponsored by the Alliance Française de Lafayette, offers children ages 6 to 10 an opportunity to learn French by playing at the museum’s supermarket and restaurant and by making art projects.
