It’s hot outside, but the AC leaves us cold. What’s a               fashionista to do? Dress the part, of course.

OCCUPATION: Part-time teacher at Catholic High School,           owner of A Finer Pointe boutique in New Roads and owner         of Redress, where I’m a stylist and closet organizer.

Tell us about what you’re wearing.
“An Esprit cotton sundress with a Big Star blue jean jacket, a Louis Vuitton purse, BCBGirls shoes and Chanel sunglasses.”

How would you describe your style?
“Classic with a few trendy pieces. I keep the trendy to a minimum. My style icons are Coco Chanel and Audrey Hepburn.”

What comes first when you’re           getting dressed for the day?
“I’d say my dress. I wear a lot of dresses for summer, in all different lengths.”

Are you a shoes or handbag kind of woman?
“Handbags.”
How many do you have?
“I’d say 30. I love shoes, too. But I really love handbags.”

What’s your favorite fashion right now?
“Big sunglasses and big handbags.”

What trend do you wish was  already over?
“Leggings.”

“Designer handbags.”

“Beauty products, shampoo and stuff.”

“Jack Black lip balm.”

“I used to perm my hair. It was a sight.”
