Tour du Rouge
Tour du Rouge, a cycling event from Houston to New Orleans to benefit the Red Cross, will be held May 3 through May 8. The event is looking for riders from this area who are interested in participating.

Grief Recovery
The Grief Recovery Center, 4919 Jamestown Avenue, Suite 102, will offer the following events and opportunity this week:
- A bereavement support group meeting for adults will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the office.
- A bereavement support group meeting for adults will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, 1125 W. Highway 30, Gonzales.
- Grief and Loss of Aging support group will meet from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the center. Topics will include caring for aging parents, facing illness and death of parents, living alone, retirement and more.

HIV services
Family Service of Greater Baton Rouge, 4727 Revere Ave., will hold free HIV counseling and testing from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday; 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday; and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday by appointment only. - Caregiver network groups for caregivers and family members of people with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at the Denham Springs/Walker Library, 8101 U.S. 190, Denham Springs; from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the Iberville Parish Library, 24605 J. Lane Regional
Lane Regional Medical Center, 6300 Main St., Zachary, will hold the following programs this week:

The Baton Rouge General will hold the following events this week:
- Parents will learn about breastfeeding basics including advantages of breastfeeding, importance of an early start, proper positioning and latch, and many other topics from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Baton Rouge General – Bluebonnet, 8585 Picardy Ave., Conference Room 2. - Brain Cancer Support Group will meet at noon Monday at the office.
- Fit & Fearless, an exercise program for cancer survivors, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday and Tuesday at BREC Independence Park. Registration is required.
- Make Today Count – East Feliciana Parish will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Jackson.
- Multiple Myeloma Support Group will meet at noon Wednesday at the office.
