Upcoming retreats at the Jesuit Spirituality Center in Grand Coteau offer opportunities ranging from learning more about Jesus to adapting Zen techniques to Christian faith.

The center at St. Chares College has announced these upcoming retreats:
  • “When Women Pray,” a silent retreat for women presented by Robin Hebert and Lyn Holley Doucet, Feb. 5 through 8.
  • “Zen Practices of Christian Living,” presented by the Rev. Robert Kennedy, Feb. 19 through Feb. 22.
  • “To Know Christ Jesus,” presented by the Rev. Anthony H. Ostini, Feb. 27 to March 1.
  • “Introduction to Christian Use of Yoga,” presented by Andrea Vidrine, March 13-15.
  • “Come Apart and Rest Awhile,” renewal retreat for female caregivers, presented by Sister Eileen Currie, March 27- 29.
The center also offers three-, five- and eight-day individually-directed retreats, scheduled to begin Jan. 20, Feb. 9, March 2 and March 16. A $50 nonrefundable deposit is required to make a reservation for a retreat. Call (337) 662-5251.
