Military
HYMEL COMPLETES BASIC: Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Michael J. Hymel has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Hymel is the son of Paul and Marlo Hymel, of Baton Rouge, and graduated from Family Christian Academy.

HOYT COMPLETES BASIC: Air Force Airman Chase W. Hoyt has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the grandson of Patricia Hoyt, of Baton Rouge.

SEYMOUR COMPLETES BASIC: Air Force Airman Trevor P. Seymour has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Susan Alhamed, of Baton Rouge, and is a 2008 graduate of Broadmoor High School.

NICHOLLS STUDENTS NAMED TO “WHO’S WHO”: Nicholls State University will be represented by 78 students in the 2008 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”
