Johnisha Henderson is making the most of her transition to Baton Rouge from New Orleans. At Capitol High School on Feb. 10, Henderson spent her lunch break persuading fellow students to sign a petition to be presented to state Rep. Michael Jackson to maintain funding for Capitol’s health-care center. Through that center, she and her brother have joined Drama Teens and have been able to talk to a counselor about their Hurricane Katrina ordeal.
