'Crucible' tickets go on sale

Tickets are on sale for Ascension Community Theatre’s production of Arthur Miller’s The Crucible, set for Thursdays through Sundays, Nov. 5-8 and Nov. 12-14, at the Pasqua Theatre, 823 Felicity St., Gonzales.

Set in 1690s Salem, Mass., The Crucible tells the story of what happens when a fear-ridden town puts truth on trial. The story is based on the true events of the Salem Witch Trials and asks, “What will one man do to protect his name? What will one woman do to protect her family? And how far will a town go when faced with complete disaster?”

Also, Ascension Community Theatre will conduct auditions for its upcoming production Little Shop of Horrors at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 and 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22.
