Playmakers of Baton Rouge has begun online registration for its 2010 winter drama classes, which start February 22.
Two new instructors have joined Playmakers — Drew Battles and Sonya Blanchard.
Battles will teach a Monday night improv class for age 11-14 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. called Laugh Out Loud! He has a master of fine arts degree in acting from Brown/Trinity, and is a featured actor with LSU’s Swine Palace, Southern Rep in New Orleans, and Tulane Shakespeare Festival. Blanchard holds a master of arts degree from LSU, and has studied the art of dance in Gonzales and the Baton Rouge area for 36 years. She will teach Broadway Kids, a Saturday musical theater class from 10 to 11 a.m. for age 6 to 9.
