BRLT looking for 'Pageant' cast

Auditions for Baton Rouge Little Theater’s production, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, will be 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, with callbacks at 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, at the theater, 7155 Florida Blvd.

Performances are set for Dec. 11-20. Kyle Lemaire will direct.

Seventeen children, six women and four men are needed. Roles to be filled are Bob Bradley, the father, age 35-45; mother Grace Bradley; narrator Beth Bradley, age 14-17; kid brother Charlie Bradley, age 8-11; cool adolescent Ralph Herdman, age 13-15; brassy Imogene Herdman, age 13-15; tough Leroy Herdman, age 10-11; tough and combative Claude Herdman, age 10-11; troublemaking Ollie Herdman, age 9-11; small, feisty Gladys Herdman, age 7-8; prim, proper Alice Wendleken, age 10-13; managerial Mrs. Armstrong, age 40-60; church member Mrs. Slocum, age 30-60; church member Mrs. Clark, age 30-60; church member Mrs. Clausing, age 30-60; church member Mrs. McCarthy, age 40-50; Christmas story narrator Maxine, age 11-16; Elmer Hopkins, age 13-14; Hobie, age 9-10; David, age 8-9; Beverly, age 7-8; two firemen, age 16-30; Shirley, age 6-7; Juanita, age 6-7; Doris, age 9-10; the Rev. Hopkins, age 35-45; and extra Angel Choir members.

Extras sought

Batherson Casting is looking for paid extras for the feature film Battle: Los Angeles, to be shot in Baton Rouge.

The company is seeking men 18-40 years old to play military-type roles. The extras are needed for Monday, Oct. 12; Tuesday, Oct. 13; Tuesday, Oct. 20; and Monday, Oct. 26.
