Summer leisure classes
Registration is open for the Summer 2008 LSU Student Union Leisure Classes at http://www.lsu.edu/leisureclasses or by calling (225) 578-5118. Classes run June 2-Aug. 7. Registration for all classes will continue until the class is full or until the class starts, whichever comes first.

Summer classes are offered in these categories: children’s choices; craft and design; dance; family matters and personal enrichment; food, wine and spirits; health and fitness; hobbies and home improvement; language and culture; money matters and professional growth; music; sports, games and self-defense; and writing and communication skills.

A total of 82 non-credit courses will be offered. Leisure classes are open to anyone interested in turning leisure time into a fun and interesting hobby. Classes are small, so students have a chance to interact with classmates, and the instructors are personable and knowledgeable.

Registration can be completed by phone, mail, fax, walk-in or online. Credit cards, personal checks and cash are accepted. Enrollment in the summer 2008 classes is limited in size, and many classes fill up quickly. Participants are encouraged to register early.

For more information on participating or teaching, call (225) 578-5118, visit http://www.lsu.edu/leisureclasses or visit the LSU Student Union Leisure Classes office in the LSU Student Union in Room 310 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
