Art Car parade set to roll Saturday

The Baton Rouge Art Car parade will roll at noon Saturday, May 3, beginning at the State Capitol parking lot.
The parade is sponsored by the nonprofit arts organization CultureCandy. The pre-parade show begins at 10 a.m. in the parking lot. Artists will be there with their art cars, and at 11 a.m., visitors can vote for their favorite vehicle with a can of food. All food benefits the Baton Rouge Food Bank.
At noon the parade begins, heading down 4th Street to the Shaw Center for the Arts, 100 Lafayette St., where the Baton Rouge Art’s Council’s annual FestForAll will be in full swing. Cars will park around FestForAll until 2 pm.
