JAMES MINTON
James Minton has been bureau chief for the Baker-Zachary-Felicianas Bureau since July 1988. While attending college in the 1960s, he wrote articles for his father's newspaper in Livingston Parish, and he was news editor of the Denham Springs-Livingston Parish News for almost 15 years.
A graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University and a U.S. Army veteran with Vietnam service, he lives in Denham Springs.
Veterans Day is Wednesday, but observances begin Sunday with programs in Baker and East Feliciana Parish.
