Debra Lemoine covers Tangipahoa and St. Tammany parishes for The Advocate’s Florida Parishes Bureau. She has worked at the bureau since 2005 and has been with the newspaper since 2004.

Before coming to The Advocate, she worked for two newspapers in Southern California and as a business writer for The American Press in Lake Charles.

Debra received her bachelor’s degree in mass communications from LSU in 1998. A native of Lake Charles, she graduated from Barbe High School in 1994.
