Now that the Dec. 15 deadline for its initial report is near, the state Legislature’s Commission on Streamlining Government promises to increase action this week. The commission’s ultimate goal is a report to be submitted Jan. 4. The report will be a road map for the next regular legislative session convening at noon March 29.
