A 19-year-old from Abbeville was killed in a single-vehicle accident on La. 333 Wednesday afternoon.

Louisiana State Police reported in a crash report that Blake Stelly was driving a pickup north on the state highway when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and onto the shoulder.

Stelly steered back onto the roadway where he lost control of the vehicle, the report says.

The vehicle left the roadway a second time and struck a tree, the report says.

Stelly was pronounced dead at the scene, the report says.
