This copy of the electronic edition of The Advocate is being delivered free while we work with printing and delivery issues caused by Hurricane Gustav.

Response to the electronic edition has been overwhelming with some slowness in downloading the PDF due to the high volume of users.

There is also some confusion over the Web site versus the electronic edition of The Advocate.  The two are separate media products.

We do not plan to charge for accessing 2theadvocate.com which is supported by advertising. 

If the decision is to continue with the electronic edition of The Advocate, which is the actual paper delivered to subscribers, users will access it for a subscription fee.

Feedback on this digital edition has been invaluable.  We have not personally answered all of the emails, but have read every one and are looking at all of the suggestions.  Emails with issues about downloading the PDFs are being sent to the company which hosts the electronic edition of The Advocate.
