WBRZ's Who's 2uning In
Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THE CONTEST. PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING.
1. To Enter: Watch 2une In on WBRZ-TV. Viewers will visit www.2theadvocate.com, and fill out the appropriate online submission form, submitting their name, address, business and home phone numbers and date of birth. One lucky viewer will be featured in the Who's 2uning In segment, as seen weekly on WBRZ's 2une In morning program.
2. Eligibility/Miscellaneous: Only one entry per person per week is permitted. All Entrants must reside in the WBRZ viewing area as defined by Nielsen Media Research and be physically present in the U.S. as of the date of entry through and including the date of awarding prize, and be 18 years or older at the time of entry. Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months, performed services for Louisiana Television Broadcasting, LLC, and any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the contest supplying the prize, and/or their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year. Sponsors are not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software. If for any reason the contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond sponsor's control that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest, sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest.
No responsibility is assumed for: any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web-site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this contest.
By entering this contest, entrants agree to be bound by contest rules, which are final as to all contest-related matters.
3. The winning entries will be decided upon by staff members at WBRZ-TV and decisions are the sole discretion of the staff. Winners will be notified by telephone, email and/or mail and will be required to participate in a segment for 2une In, which will include a telephone interview.
4. No automatically generated entries will be accepted. In the event of a dispute as to the identification of any entrant, entrant will be deemed the individual named on the applicable entry form or by WBRZ TV.
5. All photos, videos and other electronic media entries become the sole possession of WBRZ-TV and will not be returned to entrant. Additionally, all entrants agree that any photo, video or other electronic media entries can be used for on-air use, as well as promotional material.
6. Each entry will be judged on originality, creativity and overall use of the theme: "Who's 2uning In", as described here: “Every day, thousands of south Louisiana residents begin their day with 2une In, WBRZ's popular morning news program. We love to hear from our viewers and we love to find out Who's 2uning In!
If you watch 2une In and would like to be considered as one of our Viewers of the Week, we'd love to shine the spotlight on you!
It's real simple to enter. Just send us an email explaining how much you love 2une In. The more creative the response, the better your chances."
7. Winner will receive a 2une In coffee mug, with the possibility of various other prizes, as determined by the 2une In staff. Prize will be awarded within approximately 7 days after selection of winner. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner, who will receive a 1099 tax form reflecting actual value of the prize.
8. Reservation of Rights: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify this Contest in the event that this Contest is not capable of being conducted or completed as planned for any reason. If the Contest is cancelled or terminated, notification will be posted at WBRZ-TV, 1650 Highland Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70802. In the event that an individual attempts to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest, Sponsor, in addition to disqualifying such person from participating in this Contest, reserves the right to seek damages and all other available remedies (whether at law or in equity) against him/her.
